Founded in 1980, Concerned Citizens for Animals (CCA) is the oldest no-kill shelter in Upstate South Carolina. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is proud to celebrate 40+ years of improving the lives of homeless animals in our region. Through our shelter operation in Simpsonville, thrift store in Greenville and a variety of community service programs, CCA offers a second chance to neglected, stray and abandoned animals. CCA’s outreach provides treatment, care and a safe haven for feline and canine residents until they are adopted into forever homes. The combined efforts of dedicated board members, shelter staff and active volunteers create a powerful influence in the lives of animals in our care and the community we serve.
