About

We are a unique 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to the rescue, care and re-homing of German Shepherds, Retrievers, other large dogs, mixed breeds and senior dogs. We are not a shelter. Instead we have a dedicated team of volunteers that foster the dogs in their homes until we find their forever homes. Due to a limited number of foster homes, we can only receive dogs from animal shelters. We serve the Maryland, Virginia and D.C. metropolitan areas.
