About

Ce-Ce & Friends Humane Society is a non-profit, no-kill, all-volunteer cat shelter established by two cat lovers and animal rescue veterans on the Massachusetts South Shore. Our organization is named in memory of our first shelter cat, Ce-Ce. Although Ce-Ce broke our hearts when she passed away after a lengthy battle with illness, we have created Ce-Ce & Friends to honor her memory by rescuing, protecting, and working to find loving homes for the many wonderful cats in need of homes and help around us. Ce-Ce & Friends' mission is to "make a difference..one feline at a time." We are proud to: provide clean, warm, and compassionate transitional shelter for adoptable cats; offer a safe, loving residence for kitties who - due to medical conditions, shyness, or other issues - are best suited to living in our shelter long-term; feed and obtain spay/neuter services and other medical care for feral cats throughout the area; participate in humane education and awareness activities in the community.
