At Bullies and Buddies we are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding loving homes for bullies and other buddy breeds in Southern California. Through love, training and patience we have come to know and love each and every dog we've rescued as if they were ours. They're all little angels and we want them to succeed. For this reason, we pledge to never take on more dogs than we can properly care for. We are a foster-based rescue and we rely solely on volunteers and donors to keep our doors open. We encourage you to join us on our mission and help make a difference to a dog in need.

Adoption process

GOOD MATCH - based on your application we might recommend a different dog who better fits with your lifestyle and home. We'll work together to find a good match. ADOPTION FEE - we are an official 501c3 non profit. Every dollar we take in for adoption fees is used to help us save more dogs. Fees are tax deductible and cover: spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, professional evaluation, training, rehab, medical, food and whatever else is needed. Our adoption fees area: $450 for puppies (up to 1 year), $350 for adults (1 year+). HOME VISIT - someone from our team will schedule a home visit where we can see the environment firsthand and provide guidance. We are looking for a clean, safe home. OVERNIGHT - once a match is made and you have been approved, we'll let you spend some time with the dog in your home to ensure everyone is happy. LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY - we are located in Southern California. We only do local adoptions so we can ensure the home is a perfect fit. Sorry but not out-of-state adoptions permitted.
