Wolf Trap Animal Rescue (WTAR) is an established not-for-profit 501(c)(3) business that currently operates to facilitate means of transport, foster, and adoption of rescued pets. Our program works to rescue pets who are at risk of neglect, homelessness, and euthanasia from shelters & communities in states of the South.

1. Submit Adoption Application, Includes the one-time non-refundable $25 Application Fee. 2. Submit Meet & Greet Request. 3. Application Review. 4. Info fwd to Foster family 5. Virtual Meet & Greet. 6. Foster family reaches out. 7. Next Steps. Wolf Trap Animal Rescue Adoption Team will contact you on next steps to complete adoption agreement & what to expect for Transfer Day. 8. Transfer Day.
