Whiskers or Wags, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) dedicated to the mission of providing for the humane treatment of neglected, abused, stray and surrendered animals by establishing a shelter facility. In addition, our mission includes administering rescue & adoptive services, implementing education & training on responsible pet care and promoting and providing spaying and neutering services. The Johnson County Animal Shelter will continue its rescue efforts and hopes to network with local rescue and national organizations to save the lives of Johnson County animals.
