An initiative by the City of Union City and Mayor Brian P. Stack to help community cats through TNR, fostering, adoption and education.

Adoption process

All adopters must fill out an application with two personal references, landlord reference and a vet reference. We then call all references to make sure the adopter is a good cat owner. Then, they do a meet and greet with a UCAT volunteer to make sure it is a good fit. Then, they pay the fee ($125 for cats over 6 months old, $150 for 6 months and under) and sign the adoption contract.
