Adoption process
Please understand that we will check all references, including vet references. Our adoption fees are currently $85 cats 1 year and older; $100 kittens up to 1 year & $175 for a pair of kittens. (Adoption fees are non-refundable). Adopters should own a cat carrier and all cats must leave their Sparkle Cat Rescue foster home or adoption center in an appropriate cat carrier. If a cat is adopted at the home/visit meet n greet, a carrier must be in the home for the adoption coordinator/foster to see before finalizing adoption. As part of the adoption process, we will discuss with you: The cat’s health and veterinary care history; What to expect during your cat’s adjustment to a new home; Transitioning to new food and litter (if you choose to do so); Introducing your cat to other pets (if applicable)
