About

We are an all volunteer, 501c3 non-profit rescue, who abides by the Doberman Pinscher Club of America's (DPCA) Rescue Code of Ethics. We are NOT a public shelter, but rather, a collection of small foster homes. We are located in the Lake Charles, Louisiana area. Our Mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home Dobermans in need. We want to ensure good quality, long-term, loving homes, and successful matches. We want to educate the public on Dobermans, as well as health issues affecting the breed, such as Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM), Hip Dysplasia, Wobbler's Syndrome (CVI), Hypothyroidism, Von Willebrand's Disease, etc.
