About

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and place horses in responsible and caring homes. We provide diverse resources for public education and training in horse care and responsible equine ownership. SERRA is very proud of its rehoming success rate in recent years making a positive difference in the local equine welfare community. We educate people in proper care, safe handling, and successful leadership with their horses while serving as advocates for horses of all kinds. After behavioral analysis, we retrain and rehabilitate where needed before any horse is made available for adoption.
