Saving Tails Animal Rescue (STAR) is a Minnesota-based 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer animal rescue. STAR was founded with the goal of helping local animals who are unclaimed, abandoned, abused, or neglected. Through foster homes, STAR will provide a safe and loving environment for animals in need to recover and rehabilitate both mentally and physically. STAR’s goal is to build a strong network of volunteers who are dedicated to helping provide safe and loving homes for animals with the goal of finding them their forever homes.

Adoption process

1. Adoption Application. Applications will be reviewed by our volunteers, usually within a few business days. 2. Meet and Greet .If approved, we will schedule a meet and greet with you and the animal you're interested in. 3. Home Visit. After meeting the animal, the next step is to schedule and complete a home visit. 4. Adoption Finalization. Now the adoption can be finalized. There will be a contract to sign along with adoption fees.
