Safe Haven Animal Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3), charitable rescue organization dedicated to finding homes for homeless and abandoned animals. We rescue the majority of our animals from shelters where they are destined to die. Others come from puppy mills and some from pet owners who are unable or unwilling to care for their pets any longer.

Adoption process

When it comes to adoption, we have our animals best interests at heart. We want to see our pets go to loving, permanent homes where they will be properly cared for. To help ensure that our pets are matched with responsible, appropriate owners, we will require that the new home and family are properly screened. Not only does this process benefit the pet but also you as the potential adopter; it helps to increase the likelihood that you will go home with a pet that’s right for your family, one that fits your lifestyle.
