The Rogue Valley Humane Society provides compassionate care for stray, unwanted, displaced, and abandoned animals and works toward ending pet overpopulation so that there will be no more homeless pets. We are committed to placing every healthy, adoptable animal in a loving lifetime home, teaching responsible pet guardianship, and maintaining community spay-neuter programs.
Please check to see if your home is pet-friendly. If you rent, we need a note from your landlord saying that a pet is allowed. We recommend that you submit landlord approval and an adoption application prior to your visit to streamline the adoption process and prevent delays. Please Bring: A photo ID; Any household members who should meet the pet (spouse, children, roommates, etc), and call ahead if you would like to bring your current family dog for an introduction. For dog adoptions, once your application for adoption is approved, the RVHS Animal Care Coordinator will schedule a home visit. For cat adoptions, please bring a cat carrier.
