About

Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills provides a safe, comfortable and happy environment for homeless dogs and cats. We have agreements to take strays from many local area towns, and when space allows we reach out to other agencies to bring in others so that our spaces are always benefitting animals in need. Responsible Pet Care is a no-kill, non-profit shelter. All of the cats and kittens in our care need permanent homes and are available for adoption. Many of the dogs will be reunited with their owners; but some will require new homes. We have recently partnered with Defensa Animal de Rincon in Puerto Rico and Villalobos Rescue Center in New Orleans to take dogs from these agencies when space is available here. Whether you are looking for your lost pet or you want a companion, make Responsible Pet Care the first place you visit.
