Purrs And Whiskers Shelter, Inc. (PAWS) is a non-profit 501 (c) 3, all-volunteer organization. We are dedicated to helping cats and kittens through rescue and fostering from our personal homes at considerable costs to our foster people. Our only source of funding is from donations, we are not government-funded. PAWS was established in 2000, and has placed over 4000 cats and kittens. We have wonderful cats and kittens of all colors, shapes, sizes, and ages. Each of our felines has had all their medical requirements tended to - we work with several veterinarians that ensure this.

Adoption process

The adoption process typically goes as follows: 1) you submit an application 2) foster mom reviews, and will contact you by email 3) upon approval, foster mom will coordinate an adoption location/time or your deposit to hold young kittens 4) foster mom will email, call or text to coach as needed to help integrate your new kitty.
