About

We provide "kennel-free" safe and loving foster homes for all our rescues. Our foster families treat their foster Pom as a member of their family until a forever home is found. We strive to promote and educate the principles of responsible pet ownership in the home and community, with an emphasis on spay and neutering of all animals. Severe neglect of teeth, coat, nails and proper veterinary care is the main issue we find in homeless Pomeranians. Therefore we strive to provide a source of education and support for the adoptive family on your new Pomeranian to ensure they are happy, healthy and properly care for in their new life. Pom to the Rescue is a 501(c)3, California corporation. We are a private, non-profit Pomeranian rescue located in the Sacramento valley of Northern California. We rely solely on donations and adoption donations to rescue, fully vet and rehabilitate our Pomeranians. Our rescues are primarily pulled from high kill shelters as well as accepting owner surrenders. The fee donated for your adopted loved one saves the next one from dying in a shelter.
