Pets In Need Midwest was founded in 1991 by Pat and Rudy Klimo in Ringwood, Illinois. We are a state licensed No Kill, Nonprofit Animal Shelter. We do not receive any government funds. We rely solely on adoption fees, private donations, and fundraising activities.

I adopted Little Bit (a black terrier mix) 14 years ago from Pets in Need. He was a stray - about 1-1/2 to 2 years old. He was saved from being euthanized. I had to put him down a couple weeks ago. I just want to let you know what a wonderful dog he was and gave me 14 years of companionship. I miss him every day. Thanks for all you do for these special pets. ????
