Located near Charlotte, NC. We are a small rescue which is 100% volunteer run and foster based that helps homeless cats and dogs. We do not have a physical shelter, and all of our rescues are in private foster homes.

Adoption process

1. Adoption Application must be submitted to be considered for adoption. Filling out an application does not obligate you to adopt, nor does it guarantee an adoption. 2. Application Review: Please allow 3-5 business days for an adoption coordinator to process your application. 3. Vet Reference: Please contact your veterinarian and give permission for information to be released to Paws of Piedmont. We will contact your vet. 4. Two personal references are required and we will contact your references. 5. Applicant Interview. 6. Meet and Greet. 7. Possible Home Visit
