Paws for Life Animal Rescue, Inc. was born from a desire to help homeless pets local to the founders' home state of Connecticut. Our mission is to help ensure that homeless pets in Connecticut and the immediate surrounding states get a second chance at happiness in a new forever home.

Adoption process

Our goal is to match the right pet with the right adopter. This means we approach each adoption opportunity in a unique way. One of our adoption specialists will meet (in person, or by phone) with you to learn about your "ideal pet." We take into consideration lifestyle, family dynamic, desired personality traits and an adopter's overall objective in bringing a new pet into their home and make recommendations on which of our pets may be a good fit.
