Paws Chicago - Pippen Fasseas Adoption Center

When the Pippen Fasseas Adoption Center opened its doors in 2007, it set a new standard for the quality of life provided to homeless pets in shelters. The 13,000-square-foot Center was designed with the comfort and care of the animals in mind. An average of 115 pets come to the Pippen Fasseas Adoption Center each week to search for new families. They enjoy the amenities found within Dog Town and Kitty City, including: Suites with beds, blankets and toys; 100% fresh air flow; Regular walks and playtime; A rooftop garden; Daily socialization and enrichment from our volunteers. The Welcome Center, complete with fireplace, lounging area and coffee station, and the community room help create a positive and memorable adoption experience for every family.

Adoption process

First, take the PAWS Chicago ComPETibility Quiz to find your new best friend. This 60-second quiz will find animals that will best fit your household and lifestyle. If you’ve already taken the quiz, look for an email with your scorecard and personalized link to finish your Adoption Application. Have you filled out an application in the past 6 months? If so, no need to fill out another one! Move on to the Virtual Adoption Registration Form. If you haven't completed an application, or if it’s been more than 6 months since your last one, let's get started! Next steps: After your ComPETibility Quiz and application have been submitted, view our adoptable animals. When you’ve found one that you love, fill out the Virtual Adoption Registration Form. You can fill out a new form each time you find an animal that catches your eye. That's it! Our team will contact you if you're a match with the animal(s) you've indicated on your Virtual Adoption Registration Form.
