Partnership for Animal Welfare (PAW) is a non-profit group of volunteers chartered to facilitate the rescue and adoption of homeless domestic animals, mainly dogs and cats, and place them in loving and stable homes. Adoption shows are held in the suburban Maryland area every weekend to allow prospective owners to meet with the animals and with volunteers. PAW is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
1. The first step is to consider what kind of animal is best for your family. 2. Next, meet our wonderful dogs and cats who are looking for good homes. 3. Adopting a companion animal is a family responsibility. 4. Your application will be reviewed. 5. If your application is pursued, we first conduct a vet check. 6. The Partnership for Animal Welfare is interested in finding the best permanent homes for our animals. 7. Once approved, you will sign a legal adoption contract. 8. Before adoption, each dog and cat has received veterinary care and is up to date on vaccinations.
