Mission Statement: to become an asset to pet owners and the community through: Public Assistance and education by promoting proper animal welfare; Spaying and neutering for pet population control; Finding good homes for impounded, stray, abandoned, neglected, or owner turned in pets; Assisting stray or lost pets in finding their rightful owners; Providing care and shelter for pets until they are adopted; Assisting other animal rescue organizations in need. PALS is essentially a “no-kill” shelter. The only time an animal is euthanized is if it is too sick to be treated or too aggressive to be suitable for adoption. Even in these circumstances, the decision to euthanize is not taken lightly and must be approved by our Board of Directors. Other than for those reasons, a pet will have a caring home with PALS until adopted.

I wish I could rate this rescue a 0. They make their adopters jump through hoops to adopt from them. The owner does house visits and she has very unrealistic expectations. You'd think they'd be happy to work with people especially considering how many breeders are out there. Instead they turn people away but first the owner has to come to your house and talk down to you like you are a child. That's alright I got approved by a breed specific rescue and they didn't talk down to me and did the house visit. They apologized to me for this crappy experience with this pals pets rescue. This rescue gives other decent rescues a bad name by the way they treat potential adopters.
