About

We are a cat rescue dedicated to helping abandoned, stray, and rescued cats within our communities. We provide quality shelter and foster care through the efforts of our dozens of volunteers and for the lifetime of a cat when necessary. One By One Cat Rescue will always place a cat’s health, happiness, and well-being above all else! Our ultimate goal is to find the best match for both our cats and adopting families through careful screening and personal discussion. Located in Temple, PA area we have provided wonderful pets to adopting families in the Reading area as well as Lehigh, Berks, Lancaster, Lebanon, and Montgomery counties since 1994.

Adoption process

We request a standard adoption form and there is a fee to adopt a cat/kitten. Adopted cats must be kept indoors and may not be declawed. A pre-adoption home visit is required and follow-up phone calls and/or home visits are made to support a good match. If an adopted cat/kitten cannot be kept by the new owner, for whatever reason, it must be returned to One By One.
