Northwest Florida Great Dane Rescue’s mission is to help with the rehoming of displaced Great Danes throughout the Southeast. NWFLGDR is a registered non-profit with the state of Florida and a 501(c)3 charity. Donations are tax-deductible and always appreciated. NWFLGDR is owned and operated by a Board of Directors and a dedicated group of volunteers. We are foster-home based. Our foster homes are located throughout the Florida Panhandle and beyond - from Mobile, AL, to Jacksonville, FL. Our Mission: NWFLGDR is dedicated to saving and placing unwanted and neglected Great Danes into permanent homes. We carefully evaluate both the Dane and the potential family to ensure a proper placement for a forever outcome. Our Goal: To be the voice for the voiceless. Educate on the importance of spay, neuter, shots and preventatives. Encourage people to be advocates of the breed and report any potential neglect or abuse.
