About

We are a group of volunteers who love dogs and are committed to find the best home for each dog that is rescued. All of our puppies and dogs live in foster homes and are socialized and well known to their foster families. If you think about this, this is a much better place to find your future best friend, rather than in a cage. When the foster family reads your application, they will have a sense if you fit in well with their foster dog's temperament, energy level, size, and ability to interact successfully with the members of your family. You cannot determine this during a ten minute visit at a shelter or pet shop. Almost all dogs and puppies are cute, but you wouldn't pick a spouse without thinking beyond an initial attraction, would you? Consider that this dog will be part of your family for more years than many marriages last, and make a rational choice! Many of our dogs are fostered right here in CT, but please be aware that some are with families outside the state. When this is the case, adoption fees cover transportation to your area.
