Our family has known Kera for over 10 years. We adopted our family dog from her at a rescue she worked for at that time (NEABR). When the time came for her to start her own animal rescue, we were there! She, and the team she’s developed, are amazingly knowledgeable and fully committed to the welfare and happiness of all cats and dogs, and see the potential in all animals. The pets in need are always top of mind - before they’re accepted as wards of the rescue and well after they adopt them out to their forever families. I saw the team at work firsthand when we had an elderly family member buy a puppy during the Pandemic…(hint: it did NOT go well). Eventually, with the help of Kera and Moya, we were able to get our family member to agree to surrender their almost 3 year old puppy to No Mutts Left Behind. In foster care his true potential was realized! He was easily housebroken, crate trained, socialized with people AND other animals, and was very quickly adopted to a responsible and loving new family. Even with the condition he came to the rescue in, he was never given up on and all parties are healthier and happier after working with No Mutts! ??
