Our mission is to rescue, care for, and re-home neglected, abused and/or homeless dogs, focusing mainly on the American Pit Bull Terrier. To promote humane and responsible pet ownership. To educate.

Adoption process

After review of your application our adoptions coordinator will be in contact with you to set up a meet (unless one has already happened). If our adoptable will be going to a home with other dogs, one of our volunteers will assist in a meeting between the two to ensure they are compatible. A home check is also involved and will be done by one of our volunteers. A one week trial is given, once the dog is taken to your home. We feel this is an adequate amount of time to adjust (while full adjustment may take longer) and determine if it is a correct pairing and fit for you and your family. During this trial we hold the $300- $500 adoption fee until the adoption is finalized. IF, at any point during this trial, you feel it is not going to work MuttleyCrue will refund the adoption fee and work with you to find a better fit. All of our rescued dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations. We ask you to sign an adoption contract when the adoption is finalized, in which you agree that if you ever need to give up your adopted dog, you will return him/her to us. We don't want to see any of our babies in a shelter ever again. We want them to be safe and happy FURever.
