About

Mid-Atlantic Jack Rescue, Inc. (MAJR) is a foster-based rescue that helps Jack Russell Terriers (JRT) and JRT mixes. Our mission is to help these dogs find permanent and loving homes regardless of age or disability. Our rescue is made up of many volunteers spread throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, West Virginia, and Delaware, but we have partners and supporters nationwide. Every dog in our care is in a foster home where he/she can be loved, socialized, and rehabilitated (if needed) until we can find the best “fur-ever” home.

Adoption process

Our adoption process usually takes about 2 weeks and includes the following stages: 1. Submission of application. 2. Reference Checks. 3. Home visit. 4. Adoption Contract & Fee.
