Meadow Gates Farm Sanctuary 

About

Meadow Gates is a nonprofit 501(c)3 farm sanctuary established to assist local animal-control and animal welfare groups with temporary housing of farm animals in emergency situations. We welcome these organizations to our sanctuary whenever the need arises. Meadow Gates provides refuge to farm animals of the rural community who need sanctuary. We work with animal rescue groups to find new pet homes for these wonderful animals free from the threat of the slaughterhouse. Animals unavailable for adoption are retired to the sanctuary.

Adoption process

Adoptable rabbits are evaluated for their behavior and personality, spayed/neutered, then made available to new pet homes. No intact rabbit will be adopted to a new home unless the adopter pays for the full cost of the spay/neuter prior to the release of the rabbit. Responsible adult volunteers are always needed.
