About

The Kings SPCA seeks to provide a safe haven for abused, abandoned, medically ill/injured, and surrendered animals for as long as needed until they find a loving forever family; to foster community awareness as to the importance of spaying/neutering their domestic pets; and to increase community awareness of responsible pet ownership.

Adoption process

All adoptions start with a visit to our shelter. We do not transport for appointments or adoptions. If you are interested in adopting a dog and have other dogs or kids at the residence, we ask you to bring them with you for a meet & greet. Once you select your furry friend, you will complete an adoption application (available on our website or in person) and pay the adoption fee which depends on their age. Adoption fees can only be paid using a credit or debit card. Cash or check is not accepted for adoptions. (Adoption fees cover: Spay/neuter, vaccines, rabies, microchipping, vet exam (if required), and transfer of ownership.)
