We have been rescuing pets since the early 1980's, and it continues to be a passion for us. There are so many unwanted animals in our world, and most animals simply ask for plentiful food and water, a comfortable place to sleep, and a loving hand. We try to see to it that the unwanted pets that we are able to save have all of those things, and more.

Adoption process

We are a rescue group who wants to find the "right" home for our pets. Not just any home will do. We do not have a shelter; rather, all of our adoptable pets are fostered in private homes. So, if you decide that you would like to meet a pet, please contact us, and we can make an appointment for you to meet him or her. After meeting the pet, if you decide that you would like to adopt him or her, we'll schedule a home visit. This is not intended to be a judgment on your home or your housekeeping skills. :) Instead, it is to make sure that the home is suitable for the pet that you've chosen (e.g., that you have a fence if the dog requires one, etc.). If the adoption is approved, an adoption contract is signed, and you will be asked to pay an adoption fee to help cover any vet costs that have been incurred.
