Our Mission: To provide temporary shelter and care to stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals for the purpose of placing every adoptable animal in a caring permanent home. To promote the humane treatment of all animals and promote responsible pet guardianship.

Adoption process

In order to be considered for an adoption you must: Fill out an adoption application, subject to the Humane Society of Otter Tail County's approval; Be at least 18 years of age; Have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in your household; Provide a valid ID with a current address and year of birth; Provide your landlord's name and phone number (or lease) or other proof of consent to have pets on the property; Provide verification that all current dogs and cats in the home are up-to-date on vaccinations.
