The Humane Society of Del Norte is a 501(c)(3) non-profit cat shelter run completely by volunteer staff. We do not have regular hours of operation. We are by appointment only. Cats coming into our shelter receive vet care, love, and anything else they may need in preparation for new homes with loving families. Aside from our shelter operations, we also offer a low cost spay and neuter program for owned cats and dogs and a trap/neuter/release program for feral strays. We exist solely on heartfelt donations from community members, an occasional grant, and A LOT of local fundraising events. We could not function without our dedicated volunteers and donations from our community. Please consider volunteering your time at the shelter, or making a donation.
