The Humane Society’s Mountain Shelter greets and provides care for over 800 animals each year. The Shelter houses and feeds everyone, keeps them in a healthy safe environment and sees to all their medical needs. A few will find their way back to their original owners but most are placed for adoption.

Adoption process
1. Print the Adoption Application. 2. Complete application. 3. Sign application. 4. Visit Shelter during business hours, Mon – Sat 10:30 AM – 3:30 (Last Adoption). 5. Adopting a dog - bring a collar and leash or harness and leash. 6. Adopting a cat - bring a small animal carrier.
