Applying for a dog: 1. Complete an adoption application. 2. Once your application is initially reviewed, we contact your veterinarian and references. After that, a H.E.L.P. volunteer will contact you. Please be patient, this does take some time especially over a weekend. Please allow from 24 - 72 hours for us to make contact with you. 3. Approved adopters will be put in touch with the foster home to schedule an appointment to meet the dog/puppy. 4. All members of the family must be present in order to adopt. We want to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone! If you already have a dog, we ask that you bring him/her to meet the foster dog too. Puppy and adult dog prices are variable. The foster home has final approval of adoption. Applying for a cat: 1. Complete an adoption application. 2. Once your application is reviewed, a H.E.L.P. volunteer will contact you. 3.
