Home Sweet Home’s mission is to create a no-kill community through the rescue, rehabilitate and re-homing of pets and the education of youth about animal related issues.

Adoption process

1. Look. Check out our adoptable pets. Each is living with one of our foster families, waiting for their forever home! 2. Apply. If you are interested in meeting any of our rescues, please fill out an Adoption Application 3. Review. 4. Screen. We will screen your application and check references withing 72 hours. It can take longer if references can not be reached, so be sure to let those you put down as references know that we will be calling. 5. Interview. We will contact you for an interview. 6. Meet & Greet. If we think that your home is a good fit, we will schedule a meet and greet with the animal that you want to adopt. All members of the family should be present at the meeting. If you are adopting a dog and already have a dog(s), bring your dog(s) to make sure that they get along. 7. Adoption. If the meeting goes well, your adoption will be finalized and you can take your new family member home!
