About

Founded in 1965 by Roberta Keese, Hilltop Humane Society is a non-profit, all-volunteer, strictly no-kill rescue organization dedicated to helping homeless and abused animals. Hilltop became an official animal shelter in 1989 and achieved 501(c)3 status in 1993. Our primary goal is to work toward alleviating the tragic problem of pet overpopulation. Formerly based in Randolph, we are so excited and lucky to have moved to a larger facility in Weymouth where our cats have more room to stretch their legs, and where we are better able to serve the community. We are completely reliant on grants and donations from compassionate individuals that are dedicated to our cause. We receive no government funding, and our lovely volunteers offer their help and care without pay.
