Our mission is to rescue dogs in need, rehabilitate them in a quality, nurturing environment, and re-home them in a loving, responsible, permanent home as soon as possible. We will strive to promote a culture of kindness in our community through networking and education.

Adoption process

The first step in the adoption process is filling out an application. We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link. After we receive your application you will be contacted for a brief interview. We want to be sure that the dog you are applying for is a right fit for your family. We will then contact your references, both personal and vet. A Home Visit will be conducted by one of our volunteers. If you live out of our area we will attempt to locate a rescue to help us with the visit.
