Harbor Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter located in West Olive, MI. Founded in 1956 as Ottawa Shores Humane Society, we have been serving our west Michigan community and beyond for over 50 years and we hold the municipal contract for Ottawa County. On average, over 3,500 animals enter our facility each year as strays, animals transferred in, and owner surrenders. Adoption process

Our adoption process follows a walk-in first-come, first-served policy with a completed and approved adoption survey. We will not hold animals unless there are additional meet and greet meetings required (dog-to-dog, child meeting).
