Happy Tails K9 & Feline Rescue

About

Happy Tails is a small group of volunteers dedicated to the rescue and placement of abused, neglected and unwanted animals. We are a Michigan "no-kill," 501(C)(3)non-profit organization operating in Macomb and parts of Wayne, and Oakland counties since 1995. We do not have a shelter facility. All of our pets are in foster homes where they receive all of the same love, training and care that the Foster's personal pets receive.

Adoption process

So you've spoken with a rescue representative and/or read about one of our available pets and have decided that you would like to adopt. That's great news! Most adoptions are completed within a week of receiving your adoption application. Please remember that we are a rescue group run solely by volunteers. This means all of our representatives work with the animals, applications and home visits during times when they are not at their daily employement. We do our best to respond within 72 hours to discuss your information and the pet you are interested in.
