Happy Tails Happy Homes is a no-kill, nonprofit animal welfare organization dedicated to protecting and serving the well-being of animals and fostering positive relationships between people and animals. We are an at-home foster program: no shelters, no offices, and no paid staff. All of the money donated to HTHH goes directly to our animals.

Adoption process

If you’re interested in adopting one of our pets, please complete our electronic application. Selected applications require a meet-and-greet (and a possible home visit). Upon approval, an adoption contract will be created/signed and donation accepted. For more information regarding the adoption application process please contact us at: info@happytailshappyhomes.org. Adoption fees are $275 for dogs until 18 months of age, $225 for dogs over 18 months of age and $0-$180 for senior dogs and/or dogs who need extra medical care. This fee covers spay/neuter at our vet, puppies first shots (current at time of adoption), and a microchip. Adopter is responsible for remaining shots after adoption is finalized.
