Halfway Home Cat Rescue is a 501(c) 3, nonprofit group dedicated to cat and kitten rescue, care, and adoption. We provide a no-kill, cage-free environment in our foster homes for homeless and abandoned cats and kittens until placing them in permanent, loving homes. Halfway Home assists in reducing cat overpopulation by altering and vetting all of our cats prior to adoption. We promote public awareness regarding the value of cats, cat welfare, cat overpopulation and quality human-cat companionship through education and adoption programs.

Adoption process
We have an application and contract which must be approved prior to adoption. Adoption fee is $200 for a single kitten or adult cat, which includes current veterinary care: spay/neuter, vaccinations for age, deworming, flea treatments and leukemia/FIV testing and microchip with registration. Discounted adoption fee for adopting a pair of kittens only $350! We require proof of home ownership or landlord approval prior to adoption.

Robin and her volunteers are amazing. The cats are well taken care of the all of the needs are met from safe foster homes to medical care. Sometimes, they are out in the middle of the night to trap and rescue strays. Their love and concern for all cats are without boundaries. This is the place to find your furbaby and give a cat a forever home.
