Gunner’s Run Rescue is an Illinois licensed 501c3 non-for profit dog rescue. A small home foster based Rescue that has been in operation for 15 years and operates on a strictly voluntary basis with no paid staff. Gunner’s Run Rescue was established in honor of a very special dog who passed away. All dogs rescued and helped are done for you, Gunner. You will never be forgotten. We are a small group of individuals dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment for dogs, giving them love, one-on-one attention, and basic obedience training, full veterinary care , with the ultimate goal of adoption to their forever family. We do not have a shelter all of our dogs are kept in our home and given the one on one attention that they need. We are an all breed rescue- focusing our attention on dogs that are in immediate need of placement from animal control or shelters that have to euthanize due to lack of space.
