About

Gentle Touch Animal Sanctuary was founded in 2001 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue and placement organization. Foster-based until 2003, that year it was necessary to look for a larger space, due to the increase in animals taken in. This resulted in a move into our present location. Our mission is to find homes for homeless and abandoned animals by providing refuge in a comfortable, safe environment until new permanent homes can be found.

To ensure the best possible match for both human and animal, we require the following: Completed application form and pre-adoption questionnaire; background check; personal references; veterinary reference; a possible home visit
