About

Furever After Rescue, a 501(c)(3) organization, is a no-kill, foster-based rescue devoted to finding homes for animals needing a loving family. Most of our animals come from local, high-kill shelters with some occasionally coming from bad situations and owner surrender. Our animals are immediately placed in foster homes where they learn love and are taught how to live in a home environment. All of our animals are up-to-date on their age-appropriate vetting needs and are tested for personality traits as best as possible.

We have some wonderful babies that are looking for their happily ever after and we would love for the storybook ending to be with you! Please fill out the application below; once received, a board member will get in touch with you on the next steps with your application. Please let us know if you have any questions and thank you again for your interest! Before submitting an application, please make sure your references (landlord, personal and veterinary) are aware that you are looking to adopt a pet and that we may be calling for a reference. Please note that our volunteers may call from other than a Georgia area code. If we are unable to reach your references, the person calling will leave a voice mail if it is set up on the phone. If personal references fail to call us back, the application remains in a pending status and cannot be processed further. Please allow up to a week, or more in some cases, for us to process your application; we are primarily a volunteer organization and at certain times can receive very high volumes of applications and emails.
