The mission of Enchantment Chihuahua Rescue is to rescue, nurture, rehabilitate, and relocate Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes into loving, permanent homes, as well as to raise public awareness of companion animal issues.

Adoption process

If you are interested in one of our Chihuahuas, the first step in our adoption process is to complete an Online Adoption Application. After receiving your application, we will call to schedule a home visit. If your home is found secure for a Chihuahua, further arrangements will be made to complete the adoption. We adopt out of state in certain circumstances. We do not ship dogs out of state. Therefore, the adopter is expected to pay all expenses associated with out of state adoptions, including the adoption fee.
