About

We are a 501(c)3 not for profit organization in Calhoun, Georgia trying to make a difference for the homeless animals in our community. We are ran solely by dedicated volunteers and donations. Our program works with the community to rehome and reduce the number of homeless animals. We are not breed specific or age specific. However, we can only accept animals based our facility's requirements and funding. When an animal arrives into our program, they receive a personality assessment. They are put in isolation to make sure they do not have communicable diseases. They are tested, vaccinated, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. After their isolation period is over, they are introduced to the other animals in the program to begin socialization. We provide the community with public services such as low cost vaccine clinics, low cost spay/neuter programs, and educational fundraisers. Our ultimate goal is to reduce the number of homeless animals in Gordon County and educate the community about spaying and neutering, as well as vaccinating their pets.
