The Coles County Animal Shelter and Rabies Control is located between Mattoon and Charleston Illinois. We are a Coles County taxpayer funded facility. We pick up stray and injured animals. Cruelty cases are investigated. Our facility houses animals waiting to be claimed by their owners and animals waiting for new homes.
