About

The Morgan Foundation is a 501.c3 IRS nonprofit public charity serving the greater Cullman County, AL area - we are located halfway between Birmingham & Huntsville west of I-65. The foundation was created & named by the widow of Col. Robert K. Morgan, WWII pilot of the B-17 Memphis Belle. The plane was the 1st heavy bomber to complete 25 combat missions in WWII & return to the U.S. They brought along their mascot, a black Scottie Terrier named "Stuka" after German dive bombers. Stuka went home with the copilot & lived to the ripe age of 13. Our mission is Emergency Animal Rescue & Medical Care, Rehab, Fostering & Adoption. Financial assistance for low income person(s) to have their pet(s) spayed or neutered. We can provide help with vaccinations & rabies shots & worming. We also provide spay/neuter & WWII education to the public. Linda Morgan, the founder, is an experienced public speaker & more than willing to speak at events & to civic organizations, schools & military groups. A donation is appreciated to cover gas & material(s) expenses.
