Adoption process

At Circle of Friends Animal Shelter, we embrace the concept of “adopters welcome.” We encourage and welcome you through our doors, and will gladly assist you with any questions you may have about any pet that interests you. We will set up an on-site visit for you and the pet to get to know each other. Our adoption counselors will help you to get to know the pet’s personality based on what has been observed at the shelter. Should you decide on adoption during the visit, our process is done the same day. This means the pet can potentially go home with you once the visit, contract, and payment have been completed!
